the emerald tent Circles

Each Emerald Tent circle is held within the same ritual design and sensory field. What changes is not the structure, but what the circle is listening for.

Some gatherings are oriented toward grief and release. Others toward steadiness, care, or emergence. All are held slowly, relationally, and with deep respect for the nervous system’s pace.

Below is an overview of the circle themes I currently offer.

Protectors

Police Officer Dining

For Grief & anxiety

This circle is held for first responders carrying cumulative exposure, ongoing alertness, and the emotional weight of what they have seen and held.

Rather than focusing on stories or analysis, the orientation here is toward nervous system settling and embodied coherence. The circle supports a gradual release of held tension through presence, rhythm, sound, and shared witnessing.

Nothing needs to be solved. The work is in being held.

caregivers

Nurse fell asleep

for grief & overwhelm

This circle is for people caring for others — including those tending to loved ones, as well as healthcare professionals carrying sustained responsibility, emotional labor, and fatigue.

Caregiving, whether at home or in professional settings, often leaves little space for one’s own grief, exhaustion, or quiet fear to be acknowledged. This gathering offers a place to pause, to be held rather than holding, and to let what has been carried in service of others be met with care.

The emphasis is on rest, steadiness, and belonging — allowing the nervous system to soften and be supported within the shared field of the circle.

Pet loss

Dachshund

FOR GRIEF & DESPAIR

This circle is for those grieving the loss of an animal companion.

The bond with a pet is often deeply embodied and profoundly meaningful, yet this grief can be minimized or misunderstood. This circle offers space to honor that bond without explanation, justification, or pressure to “move on.”

Grief is met gently and collectively, allowing what has been carried alone to be witnessed and held within the circle.

MANIFESTATION

Hiker on Mountain

FOR hope & prosperity

This circle is for those sensing the quiet stirrings of what wants to emerge — whether that is a new direction, renewed vitality, or a longing for greater stability and flow.

Within the same forest-held ritual design, hopes and aspirations are spoken aloud not to be forced into form, but to be witnessed, strengthened, and gently supported through collective presence. The focus is not on goal-setting or visualization, but on coherence — allowing what is seeking expression to be held in a steady, relational field.

Prosperity here is understood as something tended slowly, through truth, rhythm, and shared witnessing, rather than pursued through effort or control.
